Book Fair field trip with Meg.
Book Fair is a very impressive undertaking, receiving, sorting , pricing and boxing books which happens on Tuesday and Friday, 10-2. Last week, Meg McPherson-Kraemer, the wife of the new LPO Music Director, Matthew Kraemer met Linda Ferguson, Janet Blohowiak (chairman), Lorraine Gerhart, Ellen Goldring and Evelyn Pugh-all dedicated volunteers. She gave it a “wow”.

Record setting bag sale at the Encore Shop
Barbara Sands reports that the bag sale was the most successful to date with all the clothes gone within the first twenty minutes. People were standing line at an hour before opening. With bag sales and sales inside it was a $3000 day!!!!!!

Members and friends enjoyed music by the LPO horns (Mollie Pate, Jon Cannon, Max Paulus, Kevin Winter) while sipping variety of specially selected beers! Kevin, a home brewer, commented on the types of beer as well as the music.
